To request a Change of Programme (Internal transfer), you first need to discuss the possibility of changing programme with your personal tutor or programme leader and contact the programme leader of the new programme to find out about the course and whether you will be accepted onto the programme. You will then need to complete the ‘Change of Course/Programme form (Internal Transfer)’ available at the Student Advice Centre adhadvice@dmu.ac.uk , and have it signed by your current programme/subject leader (to release you from your current programme) and the programme /subject leader of the new programme (to confirm their acceptance and complete the modules you will be studying on your new programme). You will then need to sign this form and submit it by email to the ADH Student Advice Centre, adhadvice@dmu.ac.uk , at the Vijay Patel Building
Internal transfers are acceptable within the first 2 weeks of the academic year. If you are transferring within the first 2 weeks of the academic year or intend to complete your current year of study, you only need to complete the transfer form.
Students wishing to transfer after the first 2 weeks of the academic year or during the academic year without the intention of completing their current year of study have the option of taking a Leave of Absence for the remainder of the year.
